I am from Vancouver Island in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada and I would like to invite you to come away to the Dominican Republic -- In the quant town of El Cortecito located in Bávaro, Punta Cana just 25 minutes from the airport. It is the perfect location that offers relaxation on white-sand beach, beautiful scenery, authentic Caribbean cuisine as well as cuisine from around the world and a rich, inviting culture.
Once there you will be staying in one of the best communities. El Cortecito is the hotspot in Bávaro/Punta Cana. Original a small fishing village, it is now the place to be with restaurants on the beach (rare in this area of massive hotels), supermarkets, shops and many touristy activities. You can easily get around this small community on foot, and the Dominican people are naturally very friendly.
Estrella del Mar was built in 2012 an is a 44 unit complex which has two pools and beautiful gardens. Only half of the units are profitable so it is never over run with people, it has 24hr security, private parking, a short 7-10 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and bars. If you want to go to some of the bigger malls, a 10-20 minute taxi ride is all it takes
